Floods in Kansas, report on preliminary examination of Hoods in Kansas, investigation of flood periods of Kansas River and its tributaries, Cottonwood and Neosho rivers in Kansas, by examination of territory and from data already gathered by Governmental, State, private efforts, and by board of engineers of War Department, and to devise some general plan which will best guard against recurrence of floods and diminish their damaging effects upon lower valleys of Kansas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi rivers.
