NOTE.—The Technical regulations are issued in pamphlet form for insertion in looseleaf binders. They will consist of a series of pamphlets containing regulations of a technical nature, such as descriptions of, instructions for the care of, instructions for the handling of, and the proper nomenclature of arms, matériel, and equipment of the various branches. This series will include the class of publications heretofore known as handbooks. Technical regulations will be numbered in the same manner as are Training regulations, but 1000 will be added to the general subject numbers, i. e., Training regulations will appear as TR 445-270 and Technical regulations as TR 1445-270.
