Public [act] 18-82, 73d Congress. Pueblo Indians. H.R. 4014, act to authorize appropriations to pay in part liability of United States to Indian pueblos herein named under terms of act of June 7, 1924, and liability of United States to non-Indian claimants on Indian pueblo grants whose claims, extinguished under act of Jane 7, 1924, have been found by Pueblo Lands Board to have been claims in good faith, to authorize expenditure by Secretary of Interior of sums herein authorized and of sums heretofore appropriated, in conformity with act of June 7, 1924, for purchase of needed lands and water rights and creation of other permanent economic improvements as contemplated by said act, to provide for protection of watershed within Carson National Forest for Pueblo de Taos Indians of New Mexico and others interested, and to authorize Secretary of Agriculture to contract relating thereto, and to amend act appoved June 7, 1924, in certain respects.
