- NOTE.—The 16th International Geological Congress was held in Washington, D.C., July 22-29, 1933. A set of 30 numbered Guidebooks, taking up the various excursion trips planned for the members of the congress, was printed for the use of the international geologists. These Guidebooks (with the exception of 9a and 30) are the only publications of the congress which are bona fide public documents. Number 9a. Catskill region, and number 30, Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, were printed by the National Capital Press, Inc.. Washington. D.C., and are not entered in this catalog. Number 18, Colorado Plateau region, omitted the number in the series designation.
