NOTE.—This summary of the 94 cities having a population of over 100,000, as determined by the enumeration as of Apr. 1, 1930, and covering the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 1933, or last fiscal period closing prior thereto, presents statistics showing total and per capita receipts from revenue, total and per capita payments for operation, maintenance, and interest, and total outlays, total and per capita indebtedness, assessed valuation of property, total and per capita levies of the general property tax, and population estimates as of the middle of the fiscal year. By Executive order of June 10, 1933, the annual collection and compilation of financial statistics will he limited to cities of over 100,000 population until after the fiscal year closing June 30, 1935.
