There are available 1,469 county maps showing all the rural free delivery routes in each county, sold at 50 cents each, and 6,767 local center maps, each showing the rural free delivery routes from a single post office, sold at 75 cents each. The scale of each type map is 1 inch equals 1 mile. County maps are furnished in the form of blue-line prints made from negatives that are prepared shout once a year. Late changes in rural service do not always show on these maps. A list of available county maps will be furnished upon application to the Disbursing Clerk, Post Office Department, Washington, D.C. Blueprints from drawings brought up to date are furnished when local center maps are ordered. Remittances should be made by postal money order direct to the Disbursing Clerk, Post Office Department, Washington, D.C. Rural delivery maps should not be confused with the State post route maps which are listed in the Monthly catalog for February 1934, page 734.
