Notes:
NOTE.—H. J. Res. 679, as here reported, provides for the continuation of the Works Progress Administration, the National Youth Administration within the Works Progress Administration, the Farm Security Administration within the Department of Agriculture, the National Emergency Council, and the National Resources Committee until June 30, 1939, and the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works until June 30, 1941.
The bill, as here reported, contains provision for rural electrification loans but the committee disagrees on the amount to be appropriated for that purpose, and reports the Senate amendment relative to agricultural price-adjustment payments in disagreement.
The committee adds a new provision amending the United States Housing Authority act.
