NOTE.—The Reclamation era is a magazine for engineers, construction men, economists, and farmers on Federal reclamation projects. Its aim is to assist the settlers in the proper use of water, to help them in overcoming their agricultural difficulties, to instruct them in diversifying and marketing their crops, to inspire the employees of the Bureau and chronicle engineering problems and achievements, and to promote a wholehearted spirit of cooperation, so that reclamation shall attain the greatest heights of success. "Notes for contractors" enable them to keep posted on the Bureau's needs.
The subscription price of the Reclamation era is $1.00 a year to other than water users; foreign subscription. $1.36 payable in advance. Subscriptions should be sent to the Commissioner, Bureau of Reclamation, Washington, D. C., accompanied by remittance in the form of postal money order or New York draft, which should be made payable to the Treasurer of the United States and forwarded to the Bureau of Reclamation.
