Government officials and employees. Leaves of absence from present employment to join merchant marine, hearings, 77th Congress, 2d session, on H. R. 7744, to provide that employees of United States, its Territories or possessions, or of District of Columbia who leave their positions to serve in merchant marine shall be restored to their positions upon termination of such service, Dec. 3, 1942.
