Admiralty. Suspending provisions of public vessels act of 1926 until 12 months after termination of war, hearing, 78th Congress, 1st session, on S. 1173, to suspend, as respects vessels of Navy or in naval service, certain provisions of act authorizing suits against United States in admiralty for damage caused by and salvage services rendered to public vessels of United States, and to authorize Secretary of Navy to settle and pay claims for damages caused by vessels of Navy or in naval service, or for towage and salvage services to such vessels, Sept. 15, 1943.
