Notes:
When a railroad company has sold and conveyed land improperly patented to it, and received payment, right of entry by the company's grantee, with or without payment of the Government price of the land, will not be recognized while the patent in the name of the company is outstanding.
The grantee of the company in such case may reconvey title to the company and the company to the Government, and so enable the Department to issue patent to said grantee.
